While this style beer was crafted well before the invention of the harmonic telegraph [that’s the telephone, for all you newbie history nerds], we have no doubt that a lot of ale was consumed during the many years the phone was being perfected.
The New Hampshire Telephone Museum collaboration with Polyculture Brewing Company debuts this month. The fine folks at Polyculture have brewed a little somethin' we're calling Party Line Porter.
NHTM will host a tasting at the new Reed's North Tavern on Main Street in Warner on October 20th from 6:00-7:30.
This porter was brewed with local pale malt and is a robust ale with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and molasses.
